We may have mentioned this before but we like people that MAKE stuff. Last week we partnered with Handful of Salt and California Home and Design to host a show honoring people and businesses that do just that right here in San Francisco.
We invited 5 brands that design and make their products in San Francisco to exhibit their wares in our pop up space for an evening of fun. We designed and constructed sculptural displays for each of their products and were lucky enough to have more than 250 people attend the event. We have a tremendous amount of respect for each of these businesses as they embody the very same values of quality, integrity and responsibility that we strive for in our own.
One of the most interesting things that you realize when you speak with these small business owners is that despite the fact that you make very different products, our thoughts and philosophies on design, production, craftsmanship, branding, etc. are very, very similar. First and foremost we all strive to make the highest quality product possible. We look for quality in design, in production, in craftsmanship and in the way that we do business. All else follows from that singular goal. We greatly enjoyed working with these business people and look forward seeing their businesses grow and prosper. Thanks to Taylor Stitch, Tellason Denim, Phoenix Day, The GRQP, Blackbird Guitars, and Cellars 33 for making great products. Enjoy the pictures.
